Course Summary
Participants of this program will gain fundamental skills in how to maintain and customize the FirstClass Voice Services component of their FirstClass core server. This course starts from the standpoint of an installed and fully functioning FirstClass Voice Services server.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
ยท understand Telephony fundamentals, as related to Unified Communications
ยท understand FirstClass Unified Communications fundamentals
ยท create and administer Voice User groups
ยท examine and understand information presented in the Voice Services Monitor
ยท use the FirstClass client application to listen to and manipulate voice messages
ยท use the FirstClass client application to create and configure Voice Greetings
ยท access email and voice mail via the telephone and web
ยท understand and create the structure for Automated Voice Menus
ยท understand, create, and configure a clustered Voice Services system
Prerequisites
Completion of the FirstClass Administrator course or significant experience with FirstClass Administration including:
ยท using the FirstClass client application
ยท setting up user groups
ยท configuring privileges
ยท understanding and configuring FirstClass Gateways
