FirstClass Web Publishing, day 1 (Beginners/Refresher)
Description
Every FirstClass user has the capability of creating a website. The great part is that if you know how to create a message in FirstClass, you can create a web page:) At the end of the workshop you will have a fully functioning class website online for students, parents, etc. to access on the Internet. This presents unlimited potential for communicating with students, providing online classroom material and resources and implementing Web 2.0 technologies without having to purchase and/or learn a new application. For maximum benefit, bring information and materials that you would like to include on your website.
**If you are not a DarkeNet or PrebleNet registered user, make sure your FirstClass administrator enables the following features on your account: "publish web site" and "share calendars".
Wednesday, June 23rd 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
